Our partners at Zywave recently conducted a detailed national survey of employers about employee wellness programs, which have been part of employers’ workplace strategies for a while now. Especially in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, the majority of employers are rightly concerned for their workers’ mental health and security. While 56% of the respondents offered flexible scheduling to support employee health and wellbeing, a quarter or fewer offered the other such benefits surveyed, including access to mental health resources, expanded telehealth offerings, or an eased workload. They were also surveyed about the challenges they faced trying to implement wellness programs.
