The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) applies to companies with no more than 500 employees, through the end of the year—though its provisions may be renewed. It offers employees at these companies extended sick leave and extended family and medical leave under certain coronavirus-related criteria, whether out of concern that they may have contracted the virus or to care for a loved one.
