Darren Freese
Darren Freese is a Risk Advisor / Client Executive with TIG Advisors. While Darren has experience with many different types of commercial businesses, his focus is on Construction, Non-profit companies, Workers Compensation coverage and Alternative Risk options for organizations that are ready to take more control of their Total Cost of Risk. Professionally, he holds the Certified Insurance Counselor, Certified Work Comp Advisor and Master Work Comp Advisor designations.
What Darren enjoys the most about insurance, is that it allows him to create relationships with his clients and educate them on how their insurance coverage properly protects their business. He feels it is important to understand his insured’s business thoroughly and then work with them to properly construct a risk management program that addresses their risk exposures.
Outside of work, Darren and his wife Rebekah have three adult children. He enjoys trips with his wife and various outdoor activities, working in his shop and attending church at the St. Thomas Newman Center on the MU Campus. Currently, he also serves as a Unit Commissioner for the Scouting America-Great Rivers Council. His commissioner focus is on Troop 4/4004 in Columbia MO, where he was an Asst. Scoutmaster and Committee Chair for many years as his boys grew up enjoying the Boy Scout program with one obtaining the rank of Life Scout and two Eagle Scouts.
